nevaeh's potty dance!

ok, there's nobody home right now but i HAD to share with somebody! too funny! i didn't get a video, so you're just gonna have to deal with my poor description!

so, everytime i ask my dog, nevaeh, if she want to go outside, she puts on a big show.... she barks, dances, jumps up and down, rolls over, spins around; the works! so just now i asked if she needed to go. so she does her doggie ballet routine as usual. the more i talk to her, the more excited, she got... pretty soon i don't think SHE knew what she was doing! she was dancing around and made the mistake of checking to make sure i was following her to the back door and.... SLAM!!! just as she's turning her head back, she rams into the wall! you know how, in the cartoons, when somebody gets a head injury, they shake it off? well, she did that! haha! it was so funny! i didn't know they actually do that!

ok, so, maybe it's more of a 'you had to be there story' but i had to share!

heh... that is funny. We used to have a coon hound and he used to do "dumb" stuff like that. The one thing that he constantly did was when he was attached to his lead run outside. He would sit and wait for the deer to come up to the house looking for a handout (yeah I call them and they come running). He would sit on the porch and wait for them to approach. The closer they got the more his body would tremble with excitement and anticipation. He would hold out until they were within 5 feet of him and then he would run after them. Well the dope would forget that he was attached to a lead and just like in the cartoons, he would run full speed until he reached the end of the lead and get jerked back by his neck, all four legs would shoot forward and up into the air and then he would land on his butt, or side with a whoomp. He would do this at least once a day. it was hysterical to watch.

lmao!!! i was laughing in anticipation on that one! nevaeh wouldn't be able to contain herself long enough for the deer to get anywhere near that close!:P

hee hee... it was funny to watch.. his long ears flapping in the breeze.. and then the ugh as he gets jerked backward. He'd always get jerked on the lead, but he always would wait for the deer to get so close, makes one wonder how come he couldn't remember he was attached. And the best part, the deer would run only so far and then stop and turn around to watch him reach the end of his lead, like they enjoyed the cartoon antic. smart deer + stupid dog = fun to watch!
