    Public School...to...Virtual School
I have gone to public schools...well all my life. Last year I had a run in with pretty much all of my teachers and I then realized how much I wanted out of the High Schooling world. (I know one day I will probably miss it...even how crazy that sounds now)

I am a senior this year....and I have gone through my schooling for so long, Iam not quiting now. Iam going to get my diploma, no matter what. Well today I started my Virtual School Classes which are English 4, Gov and Econ. With doing this I will be able to graduate before my class...with that, also Not going to my old school.

With just starting my schooling today I found it very interesting. I was even searching what other classes they have available...one was P.E. Thought that was a little weird.

Once Iam done with my first three classes I want to try the Latin, Web Design and Business classes that they have available.

So is anyone still in school...Or has tried Virtual Schooling?

No I havent but I looked into doing it with University.

Seems like a ton of workload but it's always nice to have a degree in some of your life...

I know you have just started with Virtual High school but let us know how it goes...!

I hear you have to work way harder and all by yourself...

I've tried online classes before at college and I failed all of them. Now, you must take into consideration I have a hard time remembering to check internet studies when there are soooo many other things I could be doing (like checking in on ball-pythons.net). So this year, I'm trying a hybrid class. Its biology and we only go to class once a week. All other work, homework, ect, is on the internet. So far its going ok, but we shall see. I plan on finding some online classes for next semester so I can work and do class at the same time. It just helps if I can work until 12am and get home and do school work till 1-2am. Just fits my schedule, but I have to really work hard to deal with my inability to concentrate.

Yeah concentration is probably hard when, like you said, there areso many other FUN things to do!
I guess you just have to stay focused...

I can't see High School being to hard online... but then again, I've already done it so... it might be hard if you have never done it before!

My cousin took online classes his senior year in order to graduate. He did it just fine. Its just a matter of you have to remind yourself when things are due and NEVER miss deadlines. This past summer I missed my midterm exam. :colbert:
