    NO!!!!!!! NEVER TREAT THE SNAKE!!!!!!

It takes some time to kill all the mites. Just give it time.

I'd give him a good bath... I probably wouldnt use soap, but there is some kinda soap you can use.. I think it's Ivory or Dove or something like that...

but just make sure his whole body is covered by water (except his head) for 20 - 30 minutes i'd say.

If you have followed the directions, then the mites will die, easy as that. How long has it been since you sprayed? You can soak him in luke warm water with a drop of dish soap for an hour or two for immediate relief, but the PAM will do it's job if it was used correctly.

I second what Evan said. The Provent-a-mite will kill the mites. But, like Evan said, you can soak the snake, drowning any mites that are on the snake at the time. The couple drops of dish soap help to break the surface tension of the water, drowning the mites faster.

I don't know if they sell it in Canada, but if you want something to treat the snake itself with, try to find Jurassi-Mite. It's a spray that you put on a cloth and let your snake slide through. I used it on my girl to get rid of a few small ones and it's fine. Otherwise, soak them in enough water to cover the body (maybe with a cloth for them to rest their head on) with one to two drops only of the soap..Ivory or Dove. There's a thread in here somewhere that tells how to do it. Otherwise, that PAM will work in time.

    Good luck!
