    Weight Ok?
We took a weight of our little boy, Xefaud the other day. He weighed in at 68g. I'm not sure of his length though. I'm not going to bother either of the ball pythons for a week, to let them get settled. We didn't manage to get a weight of the female because she was being aggressive and I didn't want to stress her out anymore.

I'm such a geek though. I'm printing out forms to record all our our snakes' weights.

Hey it's okay. I'm starting up an EXCEL spreadsheet to record feedings, weights, any vet visits, etc. . .

You think your a geek! I'm currently using the Degei Husbandry Database to keep track of my snakes. I have used Microsoft Access to pull data from the database and create my own custom cage cards. I have used Microsoft Excel to pull data from the database, graph individual snakes' growth, and project that growth into the future to decide whether the snake will be breeding size this fall. I'm currently working on a complete database diagram of the Degei database so that I can make even better use of it. I've been planning for a while, and my son is now interested too, in writing a completely new husbandry database and program, probably using Microsoft SQL Server for a database. Who's the geek now???? ;)

Seriously though, give Degei a try. It'll keep track of feedings, weights, breedings, sheds, even defecation and urination if you want to. Its free to try, and cheap to buy ($25). www.degei.com
