Gas Chamber

I really hate feeding frozen, i prefer to feel Pre Killed prey to all my snakes

I want to make a gas chamber but how would i go about doing this ?

Would i just need to buy a cooler, dry ice, and a container to put it (the dry ice, so that the rodents connot get to it) in and just add rats and close the lid ?

Im thinking it cant be too complicated

i would need enough dry ice to knock out small-medium rats and adult mice, how much do you reccomend and is there a reccomended cooler size ?

Did you see the sticky in the feeder section about it? There is also a link somewhere on making a chamber using a paintball gas cannister but I can't find that one for some reason.

I went to a gas supply Co. and bought a CO2 tank(used to make soft drinks) and a regulator with a hose and then got a plastic tub with lid and drilled a hole the size if the tube leaving the regulator. The tank has lasted me well over a year and will probably last many more years to come. Just put rodent(s) in the tub open tank valve control with regulator and put them to sleep. No messy dry ice to deal with. I only use a little bit of CO2, no waste. Any place that sells gas for welding or fountain drinks, etc... wil have CO2 tanks.

Derek gave you a good link, the only downside is that every week you will have to buy dry ice since you cannot store it. Dry ice can also be hard to find depending on where you live.

I built a Co2 chamber it is very efficient cost about 50$ to make, easy to use and you only refill the Co2 tank whenever needed which depend on your needs.
