    f/t success!
its really been bothering darren (and me a little bit) watching the snakes eat live rat pups.. they are just so cute :rolleye2: so we had our supplier give us 6 rat pups prekilled and we froze them in bags of two so all we had to do was take out one bag at a time. so this mornign we floated the bag in hot water till they were thawed and just put them in with the snakes.. caution ate his right away!!! (as a refresher, hes our cautious shy boy who would take forever to eat) savanna is still kinda looking at hers unsure of it but im sure she will take hers too. wow was this way easier! at least i know what to do when we have hurricanes too incase our supplier is unable to give us prekilled we will have some frozen already. awesome! woo hoo

Congrats on making the transistion so easily. I hope Savanna took hers as well. I really like the ease of feeding live, but dang if it's not hard to let some of them go. Of course, sometimes I end up with new pets.....

    Hi,

Congrats on switching them over so easily.:)

I must admit feeding F/T has proved quite handy for me as I can just stock the freezer and know I can feed any time I want as long as I remember to defrost them. And I like to keep at least a weeks worth extra in the freezer in case the petshop ever runs out of the correct sizes.
