Taking Gliders to a Reptile Show
I know hardly anyone on here has sugar gliders but I have a question concerning reptile shows. Since we are trying to bond with our sugar glider boys we try and take them anywhere indoors that we go (shopping, errands, ect) and I was wondering if it would be a good idea to take them with us to the reptile show tomorrow in Manassas? (sp) They would be in a zippered pouch and they sleep all day, so its not like they would be up and running around. I'm wondering if the smell of snakes and lizards would stress them out, but I don't know. I've only once been to a reptile show and I didn't have gliders back then.

Most reptile shows have a very strict policy against bringing outside animals into the show. If you're not vending there, it's best to leave your own animals at home.

I'd never take my gliders to a reptile show for reasons stated above in your post. :)
