Yes, although Yellow Fungus is probably more common.

Hard to tell by that description without a clear picture. And again, if there's any doubt in your mind, a check up by a herp-qualified vet is never a bad idea.

I would say to take it to a vet for a check-up. Its very difficult if not impossible to diagnose what's wrong with your dragon over the internet.

Yes BD's can get scale rot, it most common as Tail Rot. The best thing to do is soak it in some hydrogen peroxide. This will help loosen the skin and and help clear up what damage has been done. In no way am I saying it is scale rot or not go to the vet. They payed good money for the education and know more than me. I am just giving you something to do, before you can get an appointment to help the recovery.

I actually can't tell what you are talking about from that pic.

I'm more of a lizard girl (in the process of becoming a snake girl...) and really scale rot shouldn't be happening with beardies. Correct me if I'm wrong, but it's generally humidity related and beardies shouldn't have a humidity percentage over 40. 30% is really much more ideal.

I'm betting on retained shed, nasty former cagemate, beginning of a shed, or possibly yellow fungus.

I wouldn't soak with hydrogen. Especially when you aren't sure what it is. A vet might be good. He looks young enough that if it's not bugging him, you might just want to sit it out through another shed and see if that changes anything.
