Puppies!!!!

Finally! On August second our labradoodle (Sophie) had her very first litter of puppies! There are 2.0 blacks, 2.1 chocolates, 1.1 cream, and 0.1 white! They just opened their eyes and began walking around the other day. And of course they all have names.

Are you planning on keeping them all?

I love them, they are all too cute!!! Puppies grow WAY too quick though....got my husband a pure black lab pup for valentines day this year and already he is 70 lbs., but still all puppy LOL!!! I love the little white one. I had a question for you out of curiosity. Do labradoodles really not shed like people claim?

Labradoodles do shed, but not nearly as much as most other dogs. It also depends on their coats. The wavier and more poodle-like the coat, like Vinnie the dad, the less shedding and the more lab-like the coat, like Sophie the mom, the more shedding. But we have 3 labradoodles, 2 with lab-like coats and the three of them combined dont shed even as much as my friends single lab.

So they don't have qualified, responsible homes to go to yet?
