    The sexes are in..
Mark popped our 8 babies last night, out of Ginger's clutch. I was responsible for them for everything else; from arranging their parents' breedings, to building the incubator, to slitting them, but popping.. just rubs me the wrong way lol. I am so scared that I will hurt them.
Mark read up on it and figured it out.. so here are the results! 0.2 normals. And 5.1 Pastels!
I do not know what-all I am keeping yet until I hatch out Bela's babies.. but I am happy for all healthy babies thus far. I would have preferred more girls as anyone probably would, but who cares when they are all healthy? :D The female Pastel is a definite keeper though; meet Snubnose!

Congrats Jen! A few more females woulda been nice, but in terms of pastel:normal ratio I think you had a fair bit o' luck!

Pop them again in a few weeks. Not that he does not know what he is doing but mistakes do happen. I had a breeder that was suppose to send me 1.3 het albinos and I got 3.1. He had been breeding snakes for awhile but popped wrong some people are scared they will hurt the snakes and may not add enough pressure. Awsome babies any way. I always pop them 3 or 4 times and always pop them on the day they are shipped out.

Thanks! I am so happy to have this girlie to keep. She will be the key to Bees with my Spider eventually.

While this is possible, I hardly think he could have mistaken a male for a female. When those red rockets pop out, there is no mistake!!
Now if he had got all females on the other hand, I would say to pop them again.

    Gorgeous female Jen!!

I definately plan on another popping round once each one sheds. :) I could definately see what you're talking about MPenn; those veiny red things are hard to miss!
