Re: "Anaconda ball python"
Anaconda ball pythons are notoriously picky eaters, did you explain that to him?
It's hard to come by there normal wild prey, which consists primarily of "man-bear-pigs" that are only native to the 'pine barons' of New Jersey.
He also needs 3 heat lamps not 2.
Re: "Anaconda ball python"
WOW someone is going to be very disappointed when it only grows to be 4 or 5 feet. That is sadly... if it makes it that long.

Argh! Then I've completely misinformed the poor guy, as I only gave him care info on the plain 'ol African anaconda ball python.
*grin*
Re: "Anaconda ball python"
As long as you're giving sound feeding/husbandry advice, you might as well suggest they try f/t man-bear-pigs. The only problem with frozen man-bear-pigs is freezer storage space--that and the fact that they take 5-7 days to thaw (maybe also suggest using a blow dryer).
Re: "Anaconda ball python"
Isn't pine bad for your BP?
Also Ceder, correct me if I'm wrong.
Re: "Anaconda ball python"
pine is ok-ish I think... The oils in Cedar are toxic, though, and should not be used for any animal.
If you ever want to see why you shouldn't use Cedar, burn a cedar limb or board or something... the oils are EXTREMELY flammable, and anything that flammable is not good for anything's health...
