    Hello everyone!
I am brand new to the boards. I am a 51 year old grandmother who has just adopted a ball python from a rescue group in this area. We don't know his age but I was told he could be anywhere from 3 yrs old to 10 years. He has not been handled much in the past so we are working on human interaction. I have had him for about a month and so far he is responding very well. Right now he is curled up around my neck. He just went thru a complete shed and is happily accepting killed small rats on a weekly basis. I purchased a rack system for him in place of a large aquarium because I can regulate the temp and humidity more closely. He gets a lot of "time out" from his rack so I don't feel bad about him being in a smaller container. I am a vet assistant at a local clinic here so I take him to work with me quite often, as he has a set up there as well. I have become quite attached to him. He is very shy but also very curious. I just wanted to introduce myself and say that I am glad to be a part of this board! Thanks for reading this

Hi Welcome! A rack, eh? That means there's room for more? :P

Ball pythons are like potato chips, it's really hard to have just one!

Hi Caron and welcome to BPNet! There should be a sticky on the forum somewhere about how to post pictures here but basically you can either upload them to your picture gallery and post the link or host them free from a photobucket account. For resizing for forums I like FastStone Image Viewer 3.2 (crops and resizes so easily and it's free). :)
