    red spots... blood?
So I came home from work just a little bit, and saw my packages of flexwatt and probe sets and etc. Checked on the snakes, and found that my pastel had shed in one piece which was what I expected tonight.

Strangely enough, there was 4 little tiny red spots. Some bigger than others, that I think is blood. I checked his body for any signs and saw nothing. Looked at his vent, and saw it was a little red. Maybe it came out of his vent while shedding?

Anyone experience any of this stuff? He was popped about 3-4 days ago, and pee'd in the process. Could he have had any internal bleeding that day. What I'm most concerned about his his fertility. I hope the little guy is fine.

    Thanks.

EDIT: I forgot the mention, these red spots were on the substrate, which is paper towels.

    Thanks

Ive had that happen to me too. Ive heard its normal. Something to do with the snake shedding in a hurry.
    So dont worry about it.

Sometimes it happens but not a big deal at all, and just a result of the shed.

Just a result of the shed, it happens. As long as there is no further bleeding and it's only a few drops, I'd be pretty confident it's just shed related.
