Thinking of getting a tattoo
Hey guys I am thinking about getting a tattoo. I have found one that I definitely like and just wanted to see what other people thought of it. This is a picture of somebody else with the one that I like. Obviously I would change something around to make it my own and not just copying someone else's. But as a place to start from what do you guys think of this one?

MMMMMM kick you out :D:D
But great tat.. Your first one should be for something you want to remember. Just my two cents.
Re: Thinking of getting a tattoo
I agree with that. It really should be something special ... I know people are going to tell me this is a bad idea. But my girlfriends nickname is lizard. and hey its a lizard. I honestly believe that this relationship is going to last ... We have been together for almost four yearsand have talked about it and after school we want to get married. So I feel that this would be a meaningful tattoo to me.

Hey I got a quick question from those of you with tat's ... Do you have to wait after you get it to go swimming? I am on the swim team and that would limit when I could get it.
Re: Thinking of getting a tattoo
You're not supposed to be in the pool or sunbathing for I believe at least a month. And I have to tell you. Don't get it because of your girlfriend's name. It's a bad idea. I was married when I was 20, I thought it was going to last. I thought about getting my hubby's name, and I am SO glad I didn't -- I'm now 23 and divorced. The person you are tends to change when you're really young and it's just not a good idea to mark those relationships permanently. I did get a tattoo the day my divorce was finalized, to symbolize the impact on my life, but clearly his name would have not been the best idea.
Re: Thinking of getting a tattoo
I will keep that into consideration ... seeing as how it sounds like a month out of the sun and pool is required I wont be able to get one till about mid spring so I have plenty of time to think about a different tattoo that means something to me or whether I really want that one.
