well it has been pretty rough with all this hot weather, i havn't been able to so swimming as much as i used to, or get out to the beach. well just cause i don't have the time doesn't mean my little rattie snake doesn't have the time....

yes they look cute, but they still have teeth and like to use them...

this morning i was making my rounds and refilled her pool and then whap! she nailed me from under her little log.

well the little bugger is getting a little better to handle, last night i had her out for about 10 mins and didn't get a single bite. i then took off the batting gloves i wear for protection, and 2 mins later WHAP she nails me. i don't get it :confused: may be it was a new smell or she was just waiting to see some flesh....

I can never get pics of Europa (my Northern Brown Snake) doing something like that b/c she pretty much hates water (she only dips before she sheds).

Well even if Selene is an occasional biter it seems that Kagez is pretty tolerant about it.

What are the batting gloves for?
