questions regarding f/t rats and appropriate size..
    hello all,

    my question for today is,

where could i buy some appropriately sized f/t feeder rats preferably online, and what size would i be getting being as though i've never seen a feeder rat in person (only had my BP long enough to feed her mice)...my 2.5 month old BP can already take down two mice in one sitting..so thats obviously telling me shes either a pig or im underfeeding her so im trying to step up to some rats..and kind of get an idea of the size range and what would be the appropriate size to feed her?

Here's a list of online vendors you can choose from:

Some of those websites will have pictures of what the different sizes are.

My BP is ~1000g and 2 YEARS old....and she is only currently eating 2 mice per week....and that's plenty for her. There's really no need to stuff them full or get them to eat as much as they possibly can. Small meals offered on a regular, weekly schedule will help maintain a consistent eater for you and greatly increase your odds of avoiding extended fasts.

I would feed a 2.5 month old BP a rat pink or small fuzzy at the most, every seven days.
