    What to do
Well as most of you know i got my new baby ball python today.. people say feed him small mice, but when i look at his body i know a small mouse can fit in there, but closer to his head its only like a centimeter thick... what would you do?

    What about fuzzys?

Baby mice that dont have their eyes open and very little fur.

Yeah hes as small as my fella I acquired Tuesday.

Fuzzys should work for awhile. Then hoppers, and adults as he gets bigger.

Yeah I feed mine today I didn't think my snake would be able to get it down. I think I need to move up to Rat Pups or Weined Rats because my BP 'Rebel' had that thing gone within minutes.

I was told that if you still see a lump in your snake the next day from the mouse then thats good. But I dont know for sure. Dont ask me to lie. Thats what people where telling me. Anyone else agree with that?

if there is a lump that might be a little to big of a prey item. you want to aim for slightly smaller then the widest part of the snake. this way the snake is not getting over fed, which would lead to and unwanted fast, and smaller meals are digested better by the snake, which means it will grow at a more constant rate.
