    i had to move my BP out the way to put a new rock hide in
    then she started hissing at me when i tired to pick her up and when i did she stoped

    what does hisssing mean
    their scared or something

    Shawn, it's a snake, snakes hiss, end of story really. It might have been scared, or feeling defensive, or just feeling like hissing at you. It's not like they have a wide range of vocal or physical ways to communicate their needs or moods so I wouldn't even worry about it. Eventually as you come to know this snake you'll know when a hiss is just a bit of a grumble or when it means real business.
