    Our first BEE!
This has been one of those things that I have been waiting four years for. And, it finally happened. We bred our Spider male to our very first Pastel Female (a smaller 2004 animal) and got 5 eggs. We ended up with 1.0 Normals, 1.0 Spiders and 1.2 BumbleeBees. The first two Bees to come out were female, so I was getting nervous that we wouldn't get our male. Then, Monica miss sexed the third animal while I was at work. So, I drove home all bummed out that we didn't get a male. When I got home, I checked out the last female to verify the sex. Low and behold a little boy. Then I had to bring it to Sean to have him double check it for me to make sure I wasn't seeing things. I also posted a picture of 2 of the Bees piping. In the group photo, the males are in the back row, and the females are in the front.

Thanks Sean. We will probably be keeping the girl on the right. It is kind of hard to see in the photo, but she has a really cool looking neck stripe. I'll try to get a better pic of her neck stripe after she sheds. As for the one on the left, not sure if I'll trade or sell, but she will probably be available.

Thanks Joe. However, it may be almost over, as we only have a few clutches left for the year.
