    Moving... Help with Snake transport....
Ok, i will be moving at the end of the month, because my time in the service is over, going back home to GOOD OL Illinois. So here is my delima: I need to know what to do with my two BPs, i went out and purchased 2 shoebox sized rubbermaid tubs, that have locking sides. Now i need to know what to do with them (please explain tips), and also what do you suggest i do with them when i move? Put them in a box in the back of a Uhaul where it will be HOT, because Uhuals are not climate controled, or in the Cab where the AC will be running, because of a pregnant wife and a 2yr old? Please help what would you do?

P.S. I have heard of people putting them in steirafoam coolers (seperate of course in the tubs), would that keep them cooler in the truck or warmer in the cab?

Act like you are shipping them - put them in a pillowcase (so some other cloth bag with some crumpled newspaper) then put the bags in a styrofoam lined box. This will keep any direct air from getting on them, keep them feeling secure and keep them warm.

You should set this up ahead of time and put a thermometer probe in the box (without the snakes) and go for a drive. This will allow you to monitor the temps for a couple of hours to see how hot/cold it gets in the box then you can correct any issues (add heat or cool packs to the boxes as needed to maintain a good temp).

Correct...but test it before you committ to needing them...with the AC on you "may not" need them...only a thermometer test will tell you for sure. :)
