    bad tattoos..
My fiancee is a tattoo artist, and we have both noticed the proliferation of bad tattoos in our area. People put out these tats with broken lines, aweful shading, and the customers do not seem to know if they are bad or not.
In the interest of improving tattooed life for everyone: if you are interested in using a cerain artist but not sure, feel free to PM me or post here with a link to their work. I can have Mark critique it for symmetry, line smoothness, etc. I myself never knew a good tattoo from a marginally bad one until I started researching and reading up on how to tattoo, etc. Just shooting this out there!

I've gotten totally addicted to Miami Ink and can't wait for LA Ink to come on TV. I don't even have a tattoo but I'm blown away by the incredible skill of some of these artists!

My hubby Mike is determined to get at least one more tatt and wants Chris Garver to do it (I think I spelled his name right?)

Yeah it's always a shame to see bad tats...I've seen some horrors around here myself. I love watching Miami ink, a friend of mine actually got one there, looks amazing.

I'm looking to get a new tat of guess what? some of my BP's I'm looking for someone good in L.A. My brother says I should combine some of my orchids and BP's. I was gonna do band(s) of cinny, pastel or spider around my arm but he says"Boring" go for something more artisitic with LOTs of color. Since I also raise orchids he thoght the combo and original artwork would be killer. Probably will go on my shoulder. Any thoughts?

i made the mistake of gettin tats at a tattoo party.... never again. i have one that is thankfully out of sight. it was supposed to be a gemini symbol with a ribbon across that says gemini but u can't really read it. and i have a breast cancer ribbon on my arm that i had to have redone 3 times and is still not very good... a lot better than it was tho.... i do have a place i can go (where i got my first) and get them fixed but i'm waiting till i have SPARE cash!

i have three, all of which really arent of good quality. i didnt know it at the time but now im disapointed in them.. the colors arent vibarant, the lines are thick and the one on my back is missing color all together.. someday i would like to have them redone and i would DIE to have it done at miami ink, i think kat was a bit pathetic for "copy cating" the miami ink show but im sure it will be a hit and i would watch it too.

Hehe... I have my one and only tattoo... A 'tattoo artist' would call it awful. It's fairly small, simple... Not really shaded and definately not symetrical. I love it however. It has meaning from how it was done (without a gun) to who did it, and what it is...

Some people don't notice or care that their tattoos aren't 'perfect quality' only because they have a more personal meaning to them :) I wouldn't want mine 'corrected' at all because to me it's perfect - in that nothing is perfect and it's got character.
