shipping snake to Florida in the summer
Hi all, I just bought a beautiful adult radiated ratsnake , and while he is in Colorado now, his owner and I are very concerned with shipping him to Florida, which is now reaching 90 + degrees in the daytime. Is there any safe way to ship him to such a hot place? I do not want to take a chance with his life, and will wait, hard as it will be , if it is the best for the snake. Just curious if anyone is shipping to Florida at this time of year. We would be using Fed ex. Thanks in advance for any advice/ suggestions! :)

I just got a shippment, this past week, with temps the same as flordia, and they were just fine, At 10:30 in the morning, it wont be in the 90s anyway. Just monitor your temps. For a wekk, and for the week you want to ship, and make your move, RRS are my fav old world rat!! Deffanatly get some pics when he comes. I hope this helps!

the shipper could use cool packs... that would keep the temps down.

make sure the shipper is fed ex certified as well.
