    Time on the forum
I was having a little conversation with my wife about my time on the net bp.net that is.lol She say's I spend too much time on here and should spend more time with her. I was wondering if any of you guy's or girl's get any slack from your significant other about how much time you spend on bp.net? ...... Be there in a minute honey!!:D

Sadly computers and xboxes and that sort of thing have impacted a lot of families and I know it certainly has been a bone of contention in our family at various times. I love BPNet but I've come to realize it's never going to be more important than time with Mike or a hug for the kids or whatever...and it never should be. If this place causes your significant other to be less than happy...turn off the computer, walk away and give her/him a hug and some of your time and attention. This forum will be here when you have time, but they might not always be.

One of the ways I deal with this is by getting up an extra hour earlier in the morning. I love the quiet time for myself while the rest of the family sleeps, I can enjoy a cup of coffee in peace and quiet, read the forum, gab with Robin on AIM. I get my BPNet "fix" but it doesn't impact on my family time. :)

This is the first forum/group that I have ever participated in so I don't get too much flack, other than the occassional " are you talking to your girlfriend again"? (response)"No honey just looking and talking about snakes". These are all done in jest. I tell her it's better than me lurking the Kingsnake classifieds and buying another snake :D. Family always comes first, animals second, running my business third(tied with BPnet). :)

It'll be okay Raul until you turn to your wife and say "just talking to some chick about her rack, dear". At that point you should duck Raul...duck really fast! :D

or for the women here, when you tell your husband you are talking to a guy about his balls :8: expect some reactions.

I never get flak from Mark. We have limited time to spend together what with both working a lot of hours.. so anytime we have is spent together. We do not usually seperately watch TV/go online. Anytime you see me on here, it is time that Mark is busy doing something else; his internet time is when i am not around, too :)
Like right now: he is still asleep. :) I am letting him sleep in because this is ou only real day off together this week.. and he gets up early every other day. Now if he was awake, I would be out doing something with him..
People should never let the internet, and video games, come between them and their loved ones. They or you could die tomorrow and the person who lives on would have memories of.. what?

My boyfriend supports it -- he likes that I have hobbies and interests, and we do alot of gaming so we're on the computer quite a bit anyhow.
