Buying a rack - any info will help :)

Hello all.

Ive been looking around for a small rack and have liked what I see from

Boaphile plastics and Reptile basics , both seem to have simular products but RepBasics is somewhat cheaper most of the time.

Anyone have feedback on either of the two? Quality issues or costumer relation problems?

If you're choosing between them, go with Reptile Basics. Customer service is much better, and you'll get your stuff in a week instead of a month or more...

Do you guys recommend others sites? Iwont be getting anything right now so Im just "researching" if you will till then.

There are lots of good racks, but I like this one because it can change tub sizes as you collection or needs change. Research them all and pick what best for you!

I just purchased the 30 quart low profile rack from Reptile Basics at the beginning of the week. I currently have one BP but im planning on expanding my collection at the end of the month. Rick answered all my questions about the rack to a "t" and did so very quickly. So far it has been a great experience and I would recommend him and his company to anyone looking for supplies.

What would you guys say is better for a adult ball 30quart or 40quart? I know most of the time ppl say bigger is better but would a large female be ok in a 30??

Bigger is not always better. Smaller BPs get stressed at times when they are in a large enclosure. For large adults, I'd go with the 40 qt. We keep small adults (lots of males do not get that big) in 32 qt. Once they get over 2000 grams I try to move them to the 40 qt. However, I know of many breeders that keep their entire adult collection in 32 qt and don't seem to have a problem.

In regard to your first question, between the two, I'd go with Reptile Basics because, as was mentioned earlier, Rick delivers great customer service and ships in a timely manner.
