My ball doesn't ball anymore
I guess that means it's used to being handled a lot now. Loves being a "necklace." Maybe I should call it my Necklace Python. :)
Re: My ball doesn't ball anymore
sounds like you're treating him right. it's always a good sign when the finally relax around you.
Re: My ball doesn't ball anymore
both of my adult males have stopped balling up completely. :P
Re: My ball doesn't ball anymore
Do they ball up or behave differently with other people, or are they as comfortable as they are with you? Sounds like you've taken great care to provide them all they need in terms of habitat and safety.]
Re: My ball doesn't ball anymore
My three year old girl has only ever balled up ONCE, and that was recently, when she was ready to shed and almost totally blind, and I picked her up unexpectedly. Other than that, she's never tried, I think some of them are just lazy!
I have a young one that balls up once in a while but mostly loves to explore.
Re: My ball doesn't ball anymore
Sounds like a happy snake ;)
My boy was about 6 months old when I brought him home and is about a year right now. I have yet to see him ball up. At first I was thinking something was wrong with him until I read up here.
Re: My ball doesn't ball anymore
mine stayed ina ball for the 1st few hours that we had him.... then you can tell he got really comffy with us
Re: My ball doesn't ball anymore
mine has stopped hiding, haha. She now just posts up wherever she wants to when she's in her enclosure. It's official, this snake has NO chance of survival out in the wild
Re: My ball doesn't ball anymore

ours get really reserved (almost scared like) when we have friends over.. they refuse to come out of their hides, we dont even take them out anymore when other people are here.. i think its the raise in noise level though :sabduel:
