Does anybody know what kinda rock this might be?

My sister found this strange looking rock by a river.
Im just wondering what kinda rock it is.Does anybody know?

i have no idea but in AZ it could be anything! did you try googling rocks in your area? almost looks like an fossilized egg... doubt it very seriously tho... very cool looking, whatever it is!

Yeah i tried googling it.But nothing came up like it.

I tried using that link..but i cant really use it..cuz i cant see inside it..and i dont want to crack it open. I look at plenty of rocks on the internet but nothing ever looks like the rock i have! x__X

You could try and find a geologist relatively near you? Run into the university shouting " quick it's an emergency get me a geologist" - will probably make their decade.:P

A museum or science center might work too......but realize if you really want to identify it specifically some surgery and chemical tests may need to be done to it. Let us know what you find out.

Hmm...ok..ill try to take it to a geologist or something.
And ill tell u guys what i find out. but it might just be a plain o rock! xD

If it turns out to be a live dinosaur egg and you kill it...
