    How much food?
How do you know how much food to feed a BP? I know it's supposed to be less than the widest size but how many of them do you feed?

I've been feeding 2 rat fuzzies per week which weigh like 20-30g each. so like 40-60 g of food total. How do you know if he needs just one, two, three, etc..

I think my BP is around 400g

Many people will recomend one appropriately sized prey item every week.

Feed one prey slightly smaller than the girth size once a week and your BP will be fine, keep in mind that if you feed your BP too much at some point he will fast to catch up.

Only by biggest adults get 45-65 grams rat once a week and they will never get anything more than that.

Adam nailed it down pretty good with this post http://www.ball-pythons.net/forums/s...ight=prey+size

My adults range 1200 - 4800 grams and eat "small small" rats weekly ... I don't feed mediums or full grown smalls to anyone.
