New Camera=photo shoot, dial up no no
So, I finally got a new camera to replace my 2 mp one I have been using for 3+ years now. Anyway, I still have a lot to learn when it comes to photography, but at least I have a better camera to work with. So here are a few misc. shots of some of the kids from this year, let me know what you think!!!

For sure hold back male from Skunk X Deb pairing (JCP)

One of the red coastal jag twins that we got this year. I think this girl has to have some of the best color of all the coastal jags we hatched out this year, if not...then it is close

Here's a holdback red jungle jag sib

Last but not least, my favorite normal coastal jag sib. This girl is already over 100g, so she did really fit very well into the deli cup, but we tried

Of course, what fun is a photoshoot with out some blood. The little punk launched at me out of nowhere and held on for a bit. I can honestly say that I think this was the most any hatchling carpet has ever made me bleed.

Love that first SxD baby guys. I guess the others are nice too but the first one is really nice.:D

Put a white piece of paper around the inside wall and you'll have a nice Mutton Method photo studio.

ps. Getting lots of positive comments for Oakley's coloring. He is SxD. He glows!!!:sunny:

    Hey Charlie,

Could you explain a little more 'Mutton Method' I tried to read up on it and could get nothing from Google.

    Cheers

Charlie is referring to a breeder Nick Mutton. He uses a white bucket to do all of his photo shoots and they turn out very nicely. It has become known as the Mutton method

Yep, Chuck's got it right. In another forum Nick Mutton is well known for many things but currently his using a white bucket to photograph his snakes apparently shows off the carpets pretty well and realistic. Being imitated is very complimentary and many are trying it. I have used a white sheet and have gotten the same results but my snakes are still small. It must work very well for photographing larger more hostile snakes being contained in the bucket. You can also use white poster board for the floor or something similar then use another large piece of white poster board to wrap around the snake and then photograph it. It could be setup before hand and put the snake in afterward. It's also adjustable to snake size and stores flat anywhere.

Ben, I really like that first holdback baby of SxD. A Treasure!!!!!!

Thanks a lot for the comments you all. I am sure happy how they are all coming along. And as for the Skunk X Deb holdback, he even took a rat pink as a first meal for me :sunny: Yet another sign that he is meant to stay!!!
