    how to tell the difference?
What is the major way of defining the difference between the Red blood pythons, the Borneo, and the Sumatran? they have different scientific names, so there must be a difference that is easily readable.

I know a black blood is Sumatran

But how does someone know the difference without being told? Is there a difference in the scales, something in the pattern? Or do you have to trust the owner knows best?

I know some differences, but not well enough so you should wait for a better answer. But I think you may be confused. A Black Blood is a Sumatran Short tail, not a Sumatran blood python

Is it true that the difference is in the scales on the top head, and thats why they class them differently? Just going off of hear say on that one. But it sounds the most correct to me.
