    New Tank, Need Advice !
Im stting up a new tank fairly soon

I just got done remodeling my room (Light Tan, whites, nuetral colors)

And my 30 gallon tank with bright neon blue gravel and bright pink and green plants and flowers isnt going well with the overall mood of the room. Im gonna try for more of a natural look

Anybody wanna post pics of your "Natural" or riverstyle aquariums to give me some decorating ideas ?

No pics, but a friend of mine has one of the most gorgeous set ups I've seen yet.... Try to describe as best I can... But it's late and my descriptive skills are failing me.

    1. She uses tan and black river rocks instead of gravel (the ones about the size of a quarter).
    2. All natural looking long leafy plants. They look kind of like big fat blades of grass or tulip leaves.
    3. All accessories are granite finished faux stone work.
    4. For a bit of contrast to the tan/grey/black she added some other plants that looked similar to the green only ones, but with small vibrant blue flowers on the ends.
    5. Background is a forest/river scene.

But of course, it all depends on what colours your fish are as well for the contrast.
