    Guess what? He ATE!!
So today was a big day. He had his first shed with me, and that was a one piece shed at that. And just now, I went downstairs to look at him, and I saw him moving around.

I was like, "Wow! he's out of his hide." So I tried to feed him with a F/T mouse. I thawed it with warm water, then with hot water tried it and failed. He did his tongue action at it a couple of times, and I think he realized it was dead and had no interest in it whatsoever. So now I was like, oh well. Then I had an idea. The other day I bought a small mouse that was maybe a little bigger than a hopper home. So I brought that downstairs, threw him in the tub, and within minutes they looked like they greeted each other and STRIKE! A strike straight to the head, I was so astonished, and happy at the same moment. Within minutes he took it down, and went into his hide. I am happyyyy and feel like a load is off my shoulders.

Congrats Tony and your snake! Sounds like a pretty normal live feeding experience but very exciting the first time around to watch how efficient these snakes are. Personally I'd stick with what is working for now....a weekly live feeding of an appropriately sized mouse. If you do wish to switch to f/t, which is a fine feeding method as well, then I'd wait until you've got at least 4 to 6 weeks of a steady feeding pattern established before giving it another shot. Oh and you may need to learn the "zombie mouse dance" LOL
