you know how they say there's a black sheep in every family?
well, i'm apparently the only white sheep in mine! some of you might have seen this news story in the seattle area.....
http://heraldnet.com/article/2007072...366&news01ad=1
well, i'm (not so) proud to say that this is my cousin! yup, held a woman at gunpoint for her car, drove thru everett @ 100mph, crashed into the mall full of children..... yeah. apparently he's looking at ten years. even before this happened, he was looking at some time for identity theft... his dad, my mom, who knows how many other people... it doesn't look like anybody was SERIOUSLY injured...
this man has 4 kids... after him and his wife separated, this is what he became... hasn't talked to his kids in months. when my aunt called and told me, it seemed like she expected me to feel sorry for him. are you kidding me? do you know how many lives he put in danger? he dug his hole!
Re: you know how they say there's a black sheep in every family?
well im sorry to hear that, but it was interesting to watch.. im fromt the seattle area so you know how the news jumps on stuff like this. I hope the best for his family.
Re: you know how they say there's a black sheep in every family?
did they actually show it happening? i just saw a tiny video clip of him being put into the car. i read another article that said one of the cars he crashed into had a 2yo and 9yo. he could've killed him!
listen up kids.... SAY NO TO DRUGS!!!!!:colbert:
Re: you know how they say there's a black sheep in every family?
they didnt show it live cuz i guess it didnt last long but they showed footage after the fact.
Re: you know how they say there's a black sheep in every family?
I hope the best for both suspects and they're families. 8 shots from the police isn't a fun thing to receive. I thought it was standard procedure for the police to back off when high speed chases get too dangerous.
Regardless, I don't know all the facts, so hopefully both suspects and their families can get through this, and not just be left in the gutter of our wonderful American criminal justice system.
Re: you know how they say there's a black sheep in every family?
the guy that got shot (not my cousin) had fled into fred meyer and the police surrounded it. so he went out the back door, police told him to stop, etc, and he didn't. i happen to know that on the other side of the trees he was trying to get into is an apartment complex where there are usually a lot of kids outside at any given time. who knows what could've happened if they didn't shoot him!
Re: you know how they say there's a black sheep in every family?
no offense, but when somebody endengers lives like that they don't really deserve remorse.
(had 2 of my freinds killed by a drunk/high driver so i sort of get pissy when it happens of others.)
feel sorry for you though.

exactly my point. my family's all bummed out like they had no idea it was coming even tho we've all seen it coming for months... his soon-to-be-ex-wife is even defending him saying he must've been hungry! r u kidding me??? i don't think i've ever seen a case of hunger sink ur face in that much! he :cens0r::cens0r::cens0r::cens0r:ed up big... plain and simple. my family wants me to feel bad about it but.... he did this to himself! i just hope he learns something from it! he'll definitely have enough time to think about it!
