Let me know if this tub setup is right...
Ok so lately I tried the 12qt Sterlite setup which I found pretty hard to believe that it was beneficial but I finally tried it. I had him in a 35qt which is the same size as a 21qt, but just higher... I think. Anyway here is how it looks, so I need a few people to say that it's fine, because I think it's cramped up. I am debating on taking one of the hides out since he is in a pretty dark area under my other tank, so let me know what you guys think.
Here is the tub:

Hygrometer: (I need help getting this down, or is it fine?)

Thermometer: (it's blurry of hot side (left hide))

And my "Lemon" pastel which was yellow when I got him, but now looks like this...:

Looks good, the only thing I would suggest is trying to get that humidity down to maybe 40-50%.

Hi,
Looks like he is shedding all right.:)
I would stick with the 2 hides for now - though those look like they may be a little big for him ( it's kind of hard to judge though). You could try and find the little flat trays for putting under flower pots to give him really snug hides. They like it cramped mostly.
How long have you had the tub set up with the substrate in it?
The humidity might stabilize on its own but if it remains high you can always drill extra holes in the tub from what I have read.

Re: Let me know if this tub setup is right...
I've had that tub setup for about 2 days now, and that substrate is ASPEN, from petlanddiscounts that they use for rabbits (I didn't know that, but I hope it's the right one). I think the hides are too big for him actually, I may cut them short (again).
I think the humidity is high because I keep my door closed, and it's hot in my room where I keep him.

Well on the plus side it's exactly where you want it while he's shedding.:D
You could try a smaller water bowl but adding more holes is probably the way to go - plus you can cover them with tape (on the outside of the tub!) when he's shedding to boost it back up to 60 - 70%.

Sounds good, thanks a lot dr del. Can't wait to get a good picture of him after his first shed (with me).
Then hopefully he might look like a lemon again.

Perfect setup, no need to remove an hide your BP can move around or climb on it.
I would not change a thing.
