    First shed
Is it normal for him to hide 24/7 if he is about to shed (eyes have turned milky, etc)? Also, I was going to feed him today because it's been a week, is that ok if he is about to shed.

I can't seem to keep the humidity up in his tank. I have a large water bowl and Repti-bark in there, and I keep spraying it all over but humidity level doesn't budge too much. It's around 50% right now, how do I raise it more?

Random question: I fed him last Sunday, and today is Sunday and he still hasn't pooped. Is this normal?

I really can't figure out how to edit this post. I reread the "shedding process" sticky and apparently I missed the point that you're not supposed to feed them till after they shed. So disregard that question!

    Hi there,:)

You can only edit the posts for about 5- 10 mnutes ( I forget at the moment  ).

Have you checked out the glass tank setup sticky ? It has lots of good information that might help you with the humidity issues etc.

It's perfectly normal for them to hide more when their shedding as they can't see as well and can feel a little more vulnerable. :)

Some will eat fine when they are in shed but some don't so I would probably try anyway but make sure to plan ahead in case he is not intrested.

You didn't say if you fed live or F/T but if you feed live this means having a tank suitable for keeping the prey animal alive and healthy (water, good food etc) and either keeping him till next week or returning him to the store if he gets too big or whatever.

The poop situation is also completely normal - they can go for ages then stun you with the end result.
