what size of MOUSE is equivalent to a pinkie RAT?
I'm buying a snake thats been eating pinkie rats, and my only source of rodents is mice so I'm wondering what is the equivalent mouse to a pinkie rat?

i also just want to ask what happens if the snake you are getting won't eat mice? it might be safer to get something that currently eats mice so you know that won't be a problem.

Mouse fuzzy is about the same size as a rat pink. Personally? I'd put the mouse eater on rats, but that's just me. Whatever works for your pet and you is the best solution. ;)
I've had excellent service from Edna @ The Mouse Factory, but you'll have to check their site. I DK if they ship to Canada, or not. I love their prices, their service and their shipping costs are better most (from TX, to OR).

the trouble is if the snake won't switch. if this is a bp we're talking about that could well happen, if this is an rtb (for example) it might be an easy (and logical) switch, it just depends on the snake. just think ahead. :)

True...but I thought it was already ON rats?? He's looking for the mouse size that's similar to the rat pink...that's the only reason why I suggested it. :P

ha, sorry i'm mixing it up. yes, the snake he is buying is on rats now, but he wants to switch it to mice. so what if it won't switch to mice? or, if this is/will be a larger snake (like the rtb he was thinking about) is he going to feed it mice for the rest of its life?
