Re: baby balls not eating
well do you mind describing the set up you have? most of the time going of feed is a result of husbandry issues.
Re: baby balls not eating
20 gal long tank i did not make any changes except for feeding i put newspaper down so they do intergest the aspen heating pad and the over head light has been shut off due to the exteremly hot waether
Re: baby balls not eating
They're each in a 20 long? That seems kind of big for a baby.
Re: baby balls not eating
a 20 gal is a bit too big, if you don't have any other enclosure you can try balling up some newspapers and throw them in there to make them feel more secure.
Re: baby balls not eating
i have plenty of hides and branches and fake plants so that should not be a problem they have just all of a suddin went off of feed for 2 weeks should i try live
Re: baby balls not eating
how are you monitoring your temps?
Re: baby balls not eating
How many are in one enclosure?
Re: baby balls not eating
Judging from prior threads you started, your husbandry is way off. Just based on other posts your enclosure seems too big and you house two snakes in one enclosure. Do you know what the temps are in your enclosure? You should really check out the caresheet to work on your husbandry. This might be why two of your snakes aren't eating.
Re: baby balls not eating
it's no big deal if they eat live, if they won't take f/t, then by all means feed live just watch the feeding to make sure the mouse isn't biting your snakes.
