Cinnamon or Black Pastel Supers
Has anyone crossed the different lines of Cinnamon and Black Pastels to one another?
It is beleived that outcrossing would prevent the duck billed snout and kinking associated with the Black Supers, can anyone confirm or deny such claim!
What do you guys think of the Black balls?
Marc
Re: Cinnamon or Black Pastel Supers
I know that black pastels make darker and cleaner supers. But i want to get a black pastel female for my cinny male. (or black pastel male for my cinny female.) Because of the duck bill deal.

really, i will have to look into this. thanks :)
and about the black balls, i dont really like them at all. in fact i dont really like patternless snakes like the super mojo or lucy. i love snakes with pattern! I have cinnamons but i would rather cross them with a pastel and get pewters than the super cinny.

My oldest cinny male came from a cinny x black pastel breeding ... the super cinnies in the clutch still had the duck bill.
Hope this helps.

Does the duckbill affect their health? I saw a super cinny ringer last year in Daytona that Amir had(and fell in love with them). It was awesome to see a black snake with a white ring. I have a cinny male(BHB) and cinny female(Graziani) and I am not sure if I want to make a super even though I love them because I don't want to produce snakes that will be unhealthy or suffer. Whats the dillyO? Some one once told me that there is less of a chance of this condition if they are different lines but I don't think that is the case so I'm thinking of going for pewters instead.
