Another poor pup

I was riding my go cart, and saw this cage, and what looked like a cat in it, so i made another round and the dog stood up.
I went home and got my camera, and went up there to take pics.

No food, no water, in the dead sun, it was around 95 maybe more today.

When we got up there, we saw another pup chained up in the sun, with no water or food.

On top of the dogs cage is 2 rabbits in a tiny cage together, thier water bottles are empty.
I got the address, we're going to call animal control.

call animal control, those people will get fined for animal abuse for each animal if not a court date and jail time, God dont people have common sense any more. I mean would they like to sit in the sun without water all day when its 95 degrees in a fur coat. If you guys want to help I will chain them up to Give them a taste of thier own medicine. I bet they leave their kids in the car with the windows up while they go shopping too.

My mom called, they came out, and said it was out of thier jurisdiction.
We rhode back by and nothing changed.

James what did they mean out of their "jurisdiction"? Do they only cover the town or city and these poor animals are out in the county somewhere? If so, then there will be an animal control person assigned for the outlying areas. Those animals, left out in this current heat wave, without shade or water will likely die. Please ask your mother to keep calling around until someone in authority for that area goes back out there and either speaks to whoever owns these poor beasts or removes them if they've been abandoned. If there is a local ASPCA shelter try contacting them and raising a fuss. Also the county offices (if this is a rural area). Please don't give up on them. I'm disgusted any animal control person would walk away so easily from this kind of situation!

those Bastards need to call someone that does handle that area, how lame can they be? How heartless and indifferent. If a criminal is out of a cops juridiction you bet they will call for the county that handles that area to send cops. God what is with our govt?

We havent given up. We're still trying, ill keep you posted.

Wow; in my area, they would get rescued and plastered all over the local news stations. :( I would post pics anonymously of them and their address in the neighborhood or something. I could never give up after seeing that.

Oh my gosh!! Can you put some water in there with them. Are the cages locked? Or is it possible to slide the cages out of the sun. You don't want to get caught trespassing. Be carefull....
