Colours are real, the others are only a few days older but much bigger, also the head is very small with big eyes.
They are all poss. het. piebald.

    What would you guys do?

See how he grows up. You have a healthy ball python there why not spend a little time trying to get some size on him.

    Just my two cents.

Congrats on that great clutch Matti. I would definitely spend a little extra timee on that wee one, and I think it may surprise you. It is definitely a looker, and I think it will be fine with a little TLC.

If the umbilical cord twists a bit while the hatchling is almost fully formed, it can block absorption of some of the yoke. I would venture to guess that if the hatchling had enough strength to pip and hatch, that it will live and thrive. Just give it some special attention to get it started. :)

After examing the egg again I found a second dead young, undeveloped.
So I guess this is the reason, it was a twin.. right?

Thanks for the kind words..I will keep this one under special care ;)

Wow; that is a Tiny hatchling..
Sorry about the dead twin. I guess that this gives you an explanation though, of why he was smaller.. I hope that he grows and turns out to be a healthy snake for you :)
