    another mite question.
Well I have taken all of the substrate and branches and what not outta my tank. I basically have an empty tank right now. I am just going to line it wih paper towels for now until i take care of my mite problem. Should i use a hide or something. I am assuming yes. But what should/could i use?

Awesome your gettin the right idea. I would say use a plastic hide something easily cleaned and something that mites can't hide in.

Don't use wood Im guessing they can hide a lot in a wood type hide.

Good luck!! Where are the pictures........ :(

Provent a mite is the best for killing mites. Follow the directions to the "T" and you will no longer have a mite problem.

scrounge around your house 'n see what ya got, that's always the best way. plastics of many kinds work well. plastic coffee containers cut in half, the black plastic hideboxes they sell at stores, non see through deli containers. As long as you can easily clean it.

I have said before that the mites i have on my snake are black. I just started thinking I have never seen black mites before. They are about the size of the roller ball on a bic pen. rather large could these be something besides mites? I have seen mites before they are small and white. ANy input please.
