    egg weight question
    Here goes.. does a healthy BP egg gain or lose weight during incubation, or remain the same? Thanks!

    I wish I could help you Jen, but I have never weighed an egg after I weigh it right after being laid. I would imagine it would stay relatively the same, with slight changes day to day from absorption or realease of water.

    Eggs do not change weight unless they absorb or release mass... that depends entirely upon the moisture conditions you keep them in.

    Osmosis can go both ways.... Hope that helps.
