I love when the fat butts insist they can still fit in their hides and it ends up being a "snurtle" thing. I've changed out to bigger hides and had the brats refuse to use the newer and bigger hide.

That bowl isn't all that small. She's just very big. She does this each time I change the water. She just HAS to try and sit in it which gets substrate in it and then I clean it again. After the third or fourth time she decides she has messed with me enough.

Not a small bowl at all in my opinion, it's about exactly what I would use as well. Ball pythons, healthy ones that is, rarely soak and do not need to be offered a water dish big enough to encourage soaking. Anything small, stable, heavy and easy to clean makes a lovely water bowl for a bp.

You got it. She just likes to mess with me when she gets fresh water. None of my BP's soak. They knock over their bowls sometimes, but they don't soak.:D

We've got one female here that cannot be happy unless she's tossed her bowl over a time or two. Even if she doesn't manage to spill it she will hook a big tail coil on it and reposition it to her liking. Apparently Dori has concluded that Michael and I are too stupid to understand where her water bowl must be LOL.

Gotta love the ones that decorate to their liking.:D

I have a few that do the exact same thing. No matter where I put it, they want it somewhere else.:D
