    What trickery is this?
Ok I don't know what my goofy BP is up to, or what mischievous antics he has been plotting while tucked away inside that little cave of his, but it was only 4 days ago that he was opaque and today he shed! :weirdface

Unless I'm completely wrong about my sense of time here. Did I sleep through the Shedding Process in Husbandry Class or have I totally lost my marbles?

In 4 days time? He always took longer than that.

You probably just got your days mixed up from when you first noticed he was going to shed or you are confusing opaque with the first initial signs.

they usually shed within a couple of days after turning from opaque. Actually my shed within 2 days most of the time.

The first stage that you can notice (If I remember right) is a pinkish color on the belly.

There's a general shedding timeline but I know some of ours will do the occasional shed much faster or much slower. I never worry about it as long as they shed, it's complete and I don't have to muck about soaking anybody. :)

So what you all are saying is that I most definitely have lost my mind. Mom always said I was special, it's good to know I've met expectations. LOL :rolleye2:

Maybe you missed his first opaque stage?

Yeah I did but it has more to do with my new setup. What I had in the past for my BP was wrong, so when I came here, alot of people helped me out so I ordered new tanks and heating supplies for my snakes and got my husbandry taken care of. So now things are happening much easier for my pets.

Before he would take a while to shed and now he is doing it as you guys are describing and that threw me off.

I was scarred I had yet again done something wrong. LOL! Sorry for the confusion everyone. :)
