    Finally a BP owner!
Greetings to all! I have been using the advice on this forum for several days now, getting things ready for my first BP...which I brought home today. I have wanted one of these precious snakes for years, ever since I worked with an angel named Naomi at the El Paso Zoo. My new little girl is named Nagini and she is the sweetest thing. Already she's messing up my temp readings by snuggling up in the warm corner right against the temp probe! *sigh*

At any rate, here I am and here I hope to stay. :)

Wait till she figures out that dropping a nice big wet poop on the probe makes the human thing go nuts LOL (btw baby butt wipes are great probe cleaners). Welcome to BPNet, congrats on your first bp and of course, the requisite, begging for pictures will now commence. :)

Thank you all for your very kind welcomes. :)

She seems just fine so far, camping out during the day and crusing for an hour or so at night. She seems to prefer the 'cool' side so far, tho, as that's where she's spending most of her time. I'm surprised that even without my thermostat (which should arrive in a few days), temps seem to be stable at 92-93 warm side, 85 ambiant, and 83 cool side. I have to mist every morning as my humidity likes to hang at 45%, but I don't mind.

I'm giving her the requisite few days to acclimate to her cage, so no pics for a little while, but soon I'll be able to handle her and will get a few shots to share.
