    New RTB
Here is my new girl that I got at the beginning of this month. I am pretty excited because I've always wanted a red tailed boa. She is just a baby now but when she gets bigger I think I will be putting her in a boaphile. What size tank do you guys keep your adult females in? Also I don't really know much about the different locales or anything and I didn't think to ask when I bought her. Is there anything you guys can tell about her that I wouldnt know? All I know is that she is a red tailed boa. Anyways, here are the pictures.

Thanks! It would be awesome if she would stay this light as she grows up but something tells me that she is going to get darker. The pictures don't really show it but she has a decent amount of pink on her sides and on the side of her head.

    Cool pics.

I have my female RTB in a 75 gallon enclosure and she's got plenty of room to move her 6.5' figure around comfortably.
You say it's got pink on it's face and sides? It could be a pastel rtb? I've got a pastel also and he's got pink along both sides of his body and is a lighter brown color than the female. He's about 3 or 4 feet and is also in a 75 gallon tank.

    Good luck!

Here's my pastel boa for comparison:

I doubt its a pastel, more likely just a light colored cool normal. I'm pretty sure the person that I got it from would have realized what it was. It would be awesome if she kept the color she has into adulthood but I bet she will get darker. Cool pics though and thanks for the input about tank sizes.
