Very good feeding day!

Just wanted to share my mini success story :) I've had Jules only a little over a week now, and I was shocked when she ate for me this evening.

She's got a lot of spunk so I suspected she would be a good eater, but I never expected it to happen this quickly. I opened up the lid to offer her a thawed mouse and she promptly assumed the 'cobra position' (wish I had taken pictures) and started striking -- at ME! I left her with the mouse for 10 minutes and came back to a still quite defensive, but full, baby. She's only eaten live before so that's another victory. Anyway just wanted to share; I'm glad I'm keeping her happy and comfortable enough to want to eat for me already. :D

congrats... tonight is the first feeding attempt for my new girl. hopefully she will munch it down like your girl did.

Just wanted to add my success story. Just had Sally for a week now and she ate like a good ol girl on a thawed hopper. When I bought her last week at Amazon Reptiles, they just fed her a live one so when she took the f/t I was really surprised and overjoyed. I put the date of her feeding on a post it so it will remind me when to feed her. Good luck to all of the newbies.
