    Starting babies the 8ball way
I just wanted to put out a public "Thanks!" to Adam and all the help he provides us ball python fanatics (yes, that probably means you)!

I came across his journal entry on Getting Hatchlings Started just when I was starting my first babies.

I followed his suggestions and wouldn't ya know it, my two rat pink holdouts were happy to take mouse hoppers tonight. I'm just ecstatic that they are all feeding well.

So, thanks, Adam, for helping people out by providing knowledge and encouragement to us all. It is greatly appreciated!

It's always a good feeling when your babies first meal is gone without a trace. (Except for you will end up with a fat snake like mine). lol :D

kewl.. its always gratifying to have your snake eat for you, whether its a finicky hatchling or an adult who just decided food was overrated.

Adam hasn't left. He's just very busy right now and I'm sure when things are quieter we'll see him around here more often.

You're right..it was great to see the last two eat. Since this was my first time starting baby balls, I was a bit apprehensive at times. Glad to know that they're all on a good road to healthy lives.

I miss Adam, too. I'm sure he's swamped with eggs right now!
