    The next step.
    I am so excited all my late 06 baby's took their first small rat this past Friday :D :carrot:.

    And no one had a real bump in them so we'll see how they grow now. My spider is the one I am interested in if my Gen Banded get to weight this year I'll see what my striped spider looks like with a Genetic Banded. I love to see them growing. I mean good things are in store.

    Ed...did I miss this elsewhere...why do you have 06 babies that haven't eatin yet (or just ate their first meal)? I am happy for you just curious.:)

    No my 06's were on rat weanling's and mice they just stepped up to small rats (4-5 weeks old) like what I feed everyone else. :D

    They are all around 450-500 grams so I bumped them to small rats to see how they did and so far so good. :D

    LOL...I figured I was missing something...but haven't had my coffee yet.:rolleye2:

    At 500 grams for late 06 they are growing well...the rats should get them going in high gear now.

    Yea and thats on mice. They were all born between Oct and Nov of 06. My banded female will be a year old in Sept and she is already at 950 grams.

    That is great! Are you going to try and breed her this next season (assuming she is up to weight)?

    Yeep.. If she hit 1500 this fall....Its on like a chicken bone.. And my spider is just chomping at the bit to have a crack at her. :D
