I'm sick so...

Should I limit handlin of my BP? I think I have a slight sinus infection and stomach virus, and Darty is suddenly in the MOM I WANNA HUUUUUUUG mode, every time i walk by he tries to get out of the cage an then i pick him up an he wraps round my arm and rests there for a while *rolls eyes* hen only does this to me if he flicks his tounge and moms passing he bolts lol

i dont wanna have her handle him and get bit

I would limit handling till you feel better. There is no risk of giving your snake what you have...but with your immune system out of wack you don't want to risk getting something from him (like salmanila).


There won't be any adverse affect from not playing with him for a week or more.

My biggest concern would be that you might fall asleep while relaxing with him, and he'd decide to go on a little tour of the house. I try not to handle the snakes even if I'm especially tired. It's times like that, that you make mistakes and in the long run it's just not worth it.

I usually refrain from handling when I am sick unless I have to. Just so I don't end up getting worse. Plus washing my hands 5000 times extra lol.

Sorry you are sick, by any chance are you sneezing like crazy, all stuffed up and feeling like you got ran over by a buss? I just got over that fun stuff, I took Zicam and it worked, I was only sick for 3 days.
