quick response needed - feeding related
OK I just fed my ball and it was a little bigger than his last meal, but he struck it and after it was dead he was kinda digging his jaws into it from the side almost like he was trying to eat it sideways. But I guess he didnt want me watching because he dragged it back into his hide. Will it be ok to lift his hide off of him in a little while to make sure he has eaten it without risking regurgitation? I just dont want to freak him out. I am going out of town tomorow and wont be back til thursday. But I dont want to leave a dead mouse in there overnight with him incase he doesnt finish his meal.

I'd give him 1/2 hour and then check on him.

I concur. Definitely make sure that meal is down before you leave. I had one snake get it's prey STUCK in it's mouth. (unfortunately I didn't notice until the next morning because he did the same and dragged it into his hide)

I was a little unsure about tonight because feeding night is usually monday but because im not going to be here tomorow night and i didnt want to leave it in the hands of my mom because something could go wrong and she wouldnt know what to do.
